Advertising & Affiliate Disclosure

Nims Casa is free to read. Producing hands-on guides and honest reviews costs real time and money, so we fund the site in two transparent ways. This page explains both — and the rules that keep our advice independent.

1. Display advertising

We show display adverts served by third-party networks, principally Google AdSense. Advertisers do not choose, see or influence our editorial content, and we do not write content to please advertisers. Adverts are labelled as such and are chosen by the ad network, not by our editors. Details of the cookies involved are in our Cookie Policy.

2. Affiliate links

Some product links — clearly disclosed on the articles that contain them — are affiliate links. If you click one and buy, the retailer pays us a small commission. The price you pay is never higher because of it.

Our affiliate rules:

• Products are chosen and ranked before any affiliate consideration. A product with no affiliate programme can and does out-rank one that pays.
• Brands and retailers cannot pay for placement, a better verdict, or removal of criticism. We list cons as prominently as pros.
• Every article containing affiliate links carries a disclosure notice at the top of the product section.
• Affiliate links are tagged with rel="sponsored" in line with Google’s guidelines.

What we don’t do

• No sponsored posts disguised as reviews.
• No accepting free products in exchange for a favourable verdict.
• No “best of” lists assembled purely from affiliate catalogues.
